List of 40+ Birthday Freebies and Discounts

I did lots of research and signed up for many email lists to put together this list of birthday freebies and how to get them! The below list contains free or discounted items you can get for your birthday! I didn’t get all of the birthday freebies because some are only valid for the day or a week and that would be entirely too many sweets and treats for one week! I have included all freebies I could find, if you have more please comment so I can update this list!

List of Birthday Freebies and How to Get them

Coffee

Cinnabon

Now I go here for delicious cinnamon rolls, but if you join their eClub you will receive a free iced coffee for your birthday. I did not sign up for this since I don’t have a location in my city, so I am not sure how long you have to get your free iced coffee.

Dunkin

Receive a free beverage of any size. You must sign up for a DD Perks account and the coupon is sent to your email. The coupon is good for 6 days.

I ordered a Medium and they gave me this huge cup since it was my Birthday lol. I didn’t drink all of it.

Dutch Bros

Free drink of any size on your birthday, you must show your I.D. so it actually has to be on your birthday. This can be done without signing up for anything, but if you want extra perks download their Dutch Rewards app!

Starbucks

Sign up for Starbucks Rewards through the app or online and receive a free drink of any size on your birthday. A coupon will automatically be applied to your Starbucks account on the Starbucks app and this coupon can only be redeemed on your birthday.

Restaurants

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse

Sign up for their Premier Rewards Plus program and you will receive a free pizookie for signing up and one for your birthday as well! I never found the birthday pizookie email but the free pizookie for sign up is good for 3 months!

Buffalo Wild Wings

If you join Blazin’ Rewards and receive an email for a free order of 6 wings that must be used during your birthday month.

Chili’s

Join My Chili’s Rewards and receive free chips and salsa (or a non-alcoholic beverage) on every visit! You also receive a coupon for a free dessert on your birthday. The coupon expires after two weeks.

Denny’s

Sign up for their Rewards program and receive 20% off your next order at sign up and a free stack of pancakes for your birthday. I didn’t sign up for this.

Famous Dave’s

You can join their Rewards and receive a free dessert for your birthday. Did not sign up for this since there is no location in my city.

First Watch

Join the Sun EClub and recieve a BOGO breakfast for your birthday.

Hooters

Join their Rewards and get their app and receive free fried pickles at sign up and 10 free boneless wings for your birthday.

iHOP

Join MyHop and receive a free stack of pancakes for signing-up, and on your birthday as well. I did not sign up for this.

Longhorn Steakhouse

Join their Rewards Program and receive a free appetizer with purchase on an entree when signing up. The coupon was valid for 2 weeks. I didn’t receive anything for my birthday, may have just never found the email.

Olive Garden

If you join their eClub you will receive a coupon for a free dessert with the purchase of two entrees. I couldn’t find the email but I went on my birthday and they still gave me a free dessert! I took it to-go because I was stuffed from dinner.

Oregano’s Pizza Bistro

Join the Kaboom Club and receive a free garlic or cheese bread for signing up and a free Pazookie on your birthday!

Red Robin

Romano’s Macaroni Grill

Join their eClub and receive $5 off your next visit as well as a free dessert on your birthday.

Texas Roadhouse

Join their VIP Club and receive a free appetizer at sign up as well as on your birthday. If you’re willing to get in the saddle and be sung to, they normally give you some ice cream too.

Snacks and Treats

Auntie Anne’s

By signing up for Pretzel Perks you’ll receive a free pretzel for your birthday and you have 2 weeks to use the coupon.

Bruegger’s Bagels

Join the Inner Circle and you will receive a free bagel with cream cheese for signing up as well as on your birthday.

Cold Stone Creamery

Join My Cold Stone Club Rewards and receive a Buy One Get One Free Creation and 25 bonus points for singing up. You’ll get 1 point for every $1 you spend and get a $5 reward for every 50 points earned. You also receive a Buy One Get One Free Creation for your birthday.

Crumbl

Receive a free cookie by signing up for an account, the coupon is good for a month.

Dairy Queen

Receive a BOGO Blizzard for your birthday that is good for almost a month. You do have to download their app and sign up for this coupon.

Einstein Bagels

Join the Shmear Society and get a free bagel & shmear for signing up. You will receive a coupon for free Egg Sandwich (with a purchase) for your birthday that is valid for 14 days.

Great America Cookie Company

Join their Rewards program and receive a $5 off any purchase for your birthday. Offer expires after 7 days.

Krispy Kreme

Join their More Smiles Rewards and receive a free Original Donut on your birthday. I wish you could get any flavor, so I didn’t sign up.

Nothing Budnt Cakes

Join their eClub and receive a free bundtlet for your birthday that must be used within 2 weeks.

Pink Berry

Sign-up for Pink Berry Rewards and get a free yogurt on your birthday. No Pink Berry in my city so I didn’t sign up.

Sprinkles Cupcakes

Join Sprinkles Perks and receive a free cupcake on for your birthday. The coupon they sent me was valid for almost a whole month!

Fast Food

Arbys

Sign up for Arbys Deals and receive free fries and a soft drink with any signature sandwich purchase at sign up. You also receive an email with a coupon for a free small shake and small curly fries with any signature sandwich purchase for your birthday. The birthday coupon expires 60 days from the send date.

Cheddar’s

Get a free dessert with the purchase of an adult entree for your Birthday if you sign up for their eClub. You have almost a month to redeem this one.

Chick-fil-A

Join Chick-fil-A One and receive a free “Birthday Gift”. Not sure that that gift is because I never received an email from them on my Birthday.

Chipotle

Join Chipotle Rewards and receive Free Chips and Guac to use within 2 weeks of your birthday.

Culvers

Sign up for MyCulvers and receive a buy one get one free meal basket for sign up and receive a Free Single Scoop of Frozen Custard with your choice of one topping coupon for your Birthday. You have 2 weeks to redeem the coupon. Coupon expires after a week.

Jersey Mike’s

Join My Mike’s and earn points for each purchase for rewards and receive a free sub on your birthday!

Moe’s Southwest Grill

Join Moe’s Rewards and receive a free cup of queso for signing up as well as a free Birthday Burrito! I don’t have Moe’s in my city so I did not sign up.

Pita Pit

Download their App and join their rewards to get a free pita on your birthday.

Waffle House

Is this a restaurant or fast food? I put it here in fast food. Join their Regulars Club and receive a free waffle on your birthday.

Zaxby’s

Join their rewards and receive a free big Zax Snak for your birthday as well as a free sandwich meal at signup. I haven’t seen one in AZ so I didn’t sign up.

Retail Stores

I did not look much into the retail store freebies/discounts this year for my birthday so I don’t have much information on these.

Here is what I do know:

Kendra Scott

Fill out their Birthday Sign-Up and receive a birthday coupon during your birthday month for 50% off one Fashion Jewelry item and/or 25% off one fine Sterling Silver or Home Collection item. Sounds like a great deal to me!

Kohl’s

Join their Rewards Program and receive a $10 coupon during your birthday month.

Old Navy

Victoria’s Secret

If you have an Angel Card you will receive a coupon for $10 off any purchase for your birthday. I received mine through email and it was only valid on my birthday (2021). This year (2022) I received a coupon for a free panty through email that was valid for 1 week.

Sephora

Joint their Beauty Insider program and receive a free mini set.

Ulta

Receive 2x points on all purchases during your birthday month if you sign up for Ultamate Rewards. Their website states you will recieve a free gift for your birthday if you have signed up for their emails or have their app, but I never received anything on the app (other than the 2x points). I read somewhere that you must be at least a Platinum member to receive the free birthday gift.

Other

Disney World

I celebrated my birthday this year in Disney World! I learned that Table Service restaurants will often give you a free dessert for your birthday. If they see your Birthday pin, you may get a free birthday dessert. This is normally a free cupcake!

Here is what I received for free at each restaurant:
-Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom): Additional Birthday Cupcake (The meal already included a dessert tray)
-50s Prime Time Diner (Hollywood Studios): Birthday Cupcake
-Via Napoli (Epcot): Cream Puff
-Kona Cafe (Polynesian Village Resort): Plate of birthday treats
-Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom): Extra Gray Stuff (meal already comes with a dessert trio)

Redbox

Restaurants

Most (not all) restaurants will give you some kind of dessert (even just a scoop of ice cream) for your birthday that wont require you to sign up for any rewards program. This would require you or someone in your party telling them it is your birthday.

My Tips

It’s really hard to use all these birthday freebies since most have a short expiration time. You can sign up for some on a later date or even your half birthday (just know they might check your ID). This also takes a lot of signing up for eclubs, so you may want a separate birthday freebies email. Also note you may have to download their app to redeem your coupon, so just be aware of that.
